The Human Situation
I believe everyone has heard to Human, song of The Killers, at least once even without knowing. Well, everytime I listened to that song, I kept thinking how Coldplay this song was. For real. I could hear Chris Martin’s voice singing the chorus, the little and almost imperceptible difference of the bands sounds.
And, one day, I saw this video and my life has changed. It was a
dream that became true (too much, I know). Noticing the similarity
between one song and another band made me realize how important the
musical identity is. I searched for other examples to make my point,
but I couldn’t find, it was a very unique case for me.
To the fans of Coldplay and The Killers, I think those are two unique
bands, despite having found other bands songs that could be theirs.
